Born and raised in Brooklyn, Brian Cohen has been an avid traveler for years to greater than 50 countries on six continents and all 50 United States; and he plans on eventually going to Antarctica — preferably to stay overnight at the South Pole. Brian has authored The Gate since August of 2006 and is also a contributing writer for InsideFlyer; and he has been a member of frequent flier communities for greater than 13 years. He has studied photography in Paris and New York; and no trip is complete without hundreds of photographs to document it — and drive him crazy from having to choose only a few for an article. If all of that was not enough, he is also a certified managerial coach and mentor; an entrepreneur; and an actor and voice-over artist who performs in films and commercials in his spare time.
