But wait, isn’t it Caesar’s Palace. NO! It’s actually not. Perhaps you have heard of Jay Sarno and his vision. Often when the “apostrophe conversation” comes up, people have no idea what I am talking about. Sometimes, I even like to tell the story backwards.
Trip Report | Las Vegas Winter Vacation — I’ve been vacationing in Las Vegas during December almost every year since I turned 21. The trip has gone through many iterations since it started. I’m happy that the “December Trip” still exists with the same group even though I’m living in Las Vegas.
Summerlin is a planned community about 20 minutes west of the Vegas Strip. The entire area is beautiful and a well thought out combination of suburbia and what I expected from Las Vegas.

Folks, I’ll cut to the chase – while Summer doesn’t officially start until June 20 or 21, Vegas is already heating up literally and welcomes back my favorite time of year. People complain about the heat in Vegas (it’s a dry heat), the unbearable scorch hitting you from every direction, and the dehydration that can never be quenched. Whatever! Drink more and use the sunscreen!
