What is business class like on the upper deck of KLM? The upper deck on KLM is very spacious, has polite staff, and beautiful views. All of the announcements were in 3 languages: Dutch, English, and Japanese! The food (specifically the appetizers) were Japanese.

Amsterdam to Tokyo, in Business Class on KLM

From Amsterdam to Tokyo on KLM – in business class – there are lie-flat seats. There are 2 to 3 windows per window seat. When you get closer to Japan you can see the ocean, the clouds, the horizon, and the land of both Russia and Japan. Overall, business class is very enjoyable and comfortable in many unique ways.

The Japanese culture on the flight was very intriguing. They had Japanese flight attendants which spoke English, Japanese, and Dutch. At the beginning of dinner and breakfast they had hot towels. The appetizer for dinner was Miso Soup that tasted a lot like it would taste in Japan. For dinner, the main meals varied. For breakfast there were a few different options. The croissants were delicious and tasted like they would taste in the Netherlands or in Japan (depends on your perspective). Also, at every meal they had a few options for tea, such as Japanese Green Tea, because Japan is famous for their tea.
