Las Vegas has long been the ultimate playground for travelers seeking excitement, entertainment, and luxury. So far this year the city has continued to evolve with a plethora of attractions and experiences that cater to diverse interests. We’re taking a look at the newest experiences and attractions, so here’s a comprehensive guide to what’s new and exciting in Las Vegas this year.
New Attractions and Experiences
MSG Sphere
One of the most appreciated attractions in Las Vegas right now is the MSG Sphere. This state-of-the-art venue, which opened in September 2023, is a massive orb that illuminates the city with an impressive array of LED lighting. The interior is designed for dynamic shows and some of Sin City’s biggest concerts, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists. U2 opened the joint, and the Eagles are set to take the stage at MSG Sphere soon.
Durango Casino and Resort
The Durango Casino and Resort, the latest addition to the Station Casinos family, opened its doors in late 2023. Located in Southwest Las Vegas, this resort offers a mix of gaming, dining, and luxury accommodations, providing a new hotspot for both locals and visitors seeking a taste of Vegas outside the bustling Strip. Fontainebleau Las Vegas
After years of anticipation, Fontainebleau Las Vegas finally opened in December 2023. This luxury hotel and casino bring South Florida’s nightlife vibe to the north end of the Strip. Things aren’t going well. But with nearly 4,000 rooms, an extensive lineup of shops, restaurants, and a grand casino, Fontainebleau is set to become a major player in Las Vegas hospitality as soon as it gets it’s budget together.
Atomic Golf
In February 2024, Atomic Golf opened. Months later it let go a third of it’s staff. It might be best to visit sooner rather than later. Atomic Golf is the Top Golf on the North side of the Strip. It is blatantly the same thing, different name. It offers a high-energy alternative to traditional golf. Located at the Strat, this venue features over 100 golf bays, neon lighting, towering LCD screens, and a lively lounge atmosphere. It’s a perfect blend of sports and entertainment, ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.
Super Bowl LVIII
Yeah, we had the Super Bowl here. Las Vegas hosted the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium on February 11, 2024. This historic event brought an influx of football fans and festivities to the city, with numerous watch parties and related events planned throughout that weekend.
Particle Ink at Luxor
Launched in March 2024, Particle Ink: House of Shattered Prisms is an Dope AF (or should we say immersive?) 360-degree visual experience at the Luxor Hotel and Casino. Guests can explore two unique adventures that combine projection mapping with live performances and acrobatics, making it a one-of-a-kind attraction.
Swingers Mini-Golf
One of the newest experiences coming up is scheduled to debut this fall. Swingers Mini-Golf at Mandalay Bay offers an adults-only mini golf experience across three levels and five themed courses. Now with a name like “Swingers” mentioning “adults-only” you might think something here. This isn’t that thing. With live music and craft cocktails, this venue promises a fun and unique twist on a classic activity.
Dining and Nightlife
Vic’s Las Vegas
Located in the Symphony Park area, Vic’s Las Vegas is a new jazz club, restaurant, and bar that combines live music with exquisite dining. This all-in-one venue is set to become a downtown favorite, offering a sophisticated atmosphere and a diverse menu.
Rouge Room at Red Rock Casino
The Rouge Room, which opened in early 2024, is a lavish lounge inside Red Rock Casino. Reminiscent of clubs from The Rat Pack era, it features opulent gold accents, plush seating, and a grand piano, along with a French-inspired menu and tableside cocktail service.
BrewDog at Showcase Mall
BrewDog’s new location at Showcase Mall is a four-story venue offering craft beer, a restaurant, and a rooftop lounge with stunning views of the Strip. Known for its unique brews and upscale menu, BrewDog is set to become a go-to spot for beer enthusiasts and foodies alike.
Entertainment
DiscoShow at The LINQ
Add this to the newest experiences list: Launching in the summer of 2024, DiscoShow at The LINQ Promenade offers a raunchy, 1970s disco-inspired variety show. With dinner and a bar experience rounding out the evening, this new show is set to provide a nostalgic yet thrilling night out. The show opens on July 27th.
