Carbone Riviera at Bellagio is now open. As you’d imagine, the restaurant looks beautiful. Read more here.

It will cost you a minimum of $175 per person if you want to sit on the dock of the Bellagio fountains at Carbone 2. See the tweet here.

Here’s a quick look at the restaurant and food.

Fontainebleau Rewards has a Tier Accelerator promo. Get the details here

MGM Rewards also has a Tier Accelerator. Get the info here.

The MGM Grand renovation has been done for a while, but there’s a press release and pics here.

Wynn Resorts is a fascinating company with a commitment to luxury as much as profitability. One example is that it was ok losing occupancy to keep room rates high ($500/night!). The higher price point brings guests looking for a true luxury experience. I’ll dive deeper into this another day. See the earnings info here

La Cave at Wynn is a forgotten gem because there are so many great restaurants. It was just renovated. Check it out.

The Caesars Palace Poker Room is back next to the sportsbook, where it belongs. Read more here

La Barbecue is doing a pop-up at Fontainebleau from 12/4-14. Feedback has been so good that I think I’ll stop by to check it out. See the reel here.

The first Durango expansion with more slots and a parking garage is complete. Read more here.

The next expansion of Durango will begin in January and should be ready by mid-2027. This will include a movie theater, bowling alley, more dining, and slots. Read more here

Speaking of Station Casinos’ movie theaters, Red Rock just received a refresh, and Green Valley Ranch will see an upgrade next. See Red Rock below if you’re a movie person.

Waymo is coming to Las Vegas next summer. Read more here.

Autonomous taxis are all the rage. Zoox doesn’t have enough cars, and the wait times are kind of ridiculous right now. See one of the many tweets here

Casa Fuente at the Caesars Palace Forum Shops is closed. Not a surprise with Monte Cristo inside the casino. I preferred sitting in the small smoking a stick, but that’s me. See the tweet here.

This is neat. You can buy the glass from slot and video poker machines. Check it out here.

I went out to get wings and watch football last week, but opted for the $5 breakfast at PKWY Tavern. It was so fulling I never got to the wings. There are deals like this all over town. See a pic of the basic breakfast and $5 beer here.

Anthony Curtis from Las Vegas Advisor is the king of finding deals like this. I’d be remiss if I didn’t remind you that he’ll be speaking at Zorkfest again. Get more info here.

The Bally’s earnings press release has no information about Las Vegas. However, there’s been progress on the A’s stadium. I have no idea when they do work because the seven-day time-lapse videos never show too much. See below and visit the ballpark cam for longer and live video here.

Sphere earnings are fascinating. The company is losing money, but it’s making more and losing less every quarter. I’ll have more on this shortly. I have to edit a breakdown when I’m done with Vegas News this week. Read more here.

Unrelated pie news! Station Casinos will once again be giving away pies heading into Thanksgiving. I had no idea this was a thing when I first moved to Las Vegas and was overly amused by people playing slots while keeping an eye on their comp. pies. Get more info here.

Neon City Festival released the set times for the bands playing the free music festival from Nov. 21-23. Read more here and see below.

Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce is returning to Mandalay Bay after 16 years. Read more here

COTE Korean Steakhouse is now open at The Venetian. I can’t wait to check it out. I had high hopes for the last new steakhouse I visited, which was so unimpressive that I haven’t bothered to share info yet. Anyway, get more info on COTE here.

Marc grew up on the mean streets of the South Bronx. He's the rare combination of Yankees and Jets fan which explains his often contrarian point of view. He learned about gambling at a young age working down the street from a bookie who took action on anything from the mainstream sports to the last three digits of the purse for certain horse races. Yeah, that's a thing. Today Marc is a freelance writer and social media consultant which allows him to work anywhere there's a wifi signal. This allows him to work from the sportsbook at Red Rock Resort or the food court at The Venetian where you’ll find fast and free wifi. Writing about steak, booze, gambling and Las Vegas is a tough job but somebody has to do it.
