Low season in Europe is during the winter months. But for travel hackers that love the splendor of a Scandinavian winter, that’s the time to go. Norwegian Airlines is showing deep commitment to the US market with great fares and great service to exciting destinations. This latest Flash Deal just popped up and the TravelZork team tips their hat to Gary Leff for this one.

The trick to getting the best value is to go to Norwegian’s UK site, rather than the US one. The current exchange rates between the US dollar and the British pound have been getting better for folks in the US due to economic uncertainty to the Brexit. And that pays big dividends for all of the travel hackers out there. Take a look at this chart to see how the value of the US dollar has grown against the pound recently.

OK. That’s enough Economics 101 for today. Let’s get you this killer flash deal. Go to the Norwegian Airlines’ UK site and plug in New York (JFK) as your point of departure. Then select Oslo, Stockholm or Copenhagen as your destination. For dates, select anything from January through March of 2017. Then check the box labeled “Show Low Fare Calendar” and start your search.

Using those parameters you will get back a calendar view that shows the cheapest fares for this flash deal for a full month. Right now the outbound can be purchased for £96.80 which equals around $128 at today’s rates. The return is a bit more but you should still be able to get a round trip ticket for $275 or less.

Now, let’s remember the most important things about Flash Deals. They’re here now and they can be gone a minute later. When I started writing this article the outbound fare was £95.80 and by the time I took the screenshot it had gone up by £1. So don’t let this flash deal pass you by.
