Possible free cruise (and cruise status) for new Royal Caribbean cruisers with casino statuses
I’ve received multiple datapoints of comp cruises for those new to Royal Caribbean who provide casino status and cruise offers from other cruise companies. Rove launches new app, Rove Dining, a gift card marketplace, and more
It’s another big launch for Rove with a user-friendly app with many features. You can now buy many gift cards directly from Rove, and Rove Miles will post upon purchase. Link credit cards with the Rove app and also earn Rove Miles with dining transactions at select merchants. More on Rove Dining here. I discussed the new updates with Carissa Rawson from Rove.
Bilt adds Amtrak as a new transfer partner, rent day bonuses for Hilton and Amtrak
Bilt cardholders can now transfer their Bilt points to Amtrak at a 2:1 rate (2000 Bilt points get 1000 Amtrak points). Amtrak points are often worth more than two cents per point for train travel, so this is a decent offer, especially for those without Amtrak credit cards.
Transfers from Bilt to Amtrak on October 1st, 2026 (Rent Day) will get bonuses depending on Bilt status levels: Blue for a 25% bonus, Silver for a 50% bonus, Gold for a 75% bonus, and Platinum for a 100% bonus. America still loves math.
Transfers from Bilt to Hilton aren’t as exciting because Hilton points aren’t as valuable, and Amex Hilton credit cards can generate Hilton points with bonus category spending. However, transfers from Bilt to Hilton on October 1st, 2026 are also bonused based on Bilt status: Blue for a 75% bonus, Silver for a 100% bonus, Gold for a 150% bonus, and Platinum for a 175% bonus.
Bilt Gold members also get Hilton Gold status for 90 days if transferring points on Rent Day. Gain Hilton Diamond status if staying at Hilton hotels for 12 nights in 90 days. Bilt Platinum members get Hilton Diamond status when transferring points on Rent Day, and they keep Diamond status if they stay at Hilton hotels for 12 nights in 90 days.
Loyalty programs keep changing. Some changes matter. Some are noise. Status Signals sorts the signal from the static.
