Summer comes early inside Tropicana Atlantic City. Beach Bash, Tropicana’s property-wide beach party, returns Jan. 18 through Feb. 28 with giveaways, entertainment, drink specials and more.

Begin the fun by guessing the number of beach balls suspended from the ceiling of the Palm Walk for a chance to win 1,000 bonus slot dollars. Trop Advantage cardholders can lock in their one-time guesses at any Trop Advantage comp kiosk. The entry period is open from 10 a.m. Jan. 18 to 6 p.m. Feb. 23. The winner will be announced two hours later at 8 o’clock. A little while later join the countdown and catch the cascade of colorful beach balls as they drop from the ceiling.

Trop Advantage cardholders can win a five-night getaway to Tropicana’s sister property, Isle Casino Pompano Beach, $250 in free Play and a $100 dining credit. Getting cold feet (and every other part of your body)

A New Year’s Day tradition continues as the annual Polar Bear Plunge makes its return for the 28th year. The event will be held at noon Jan. 1 on the beach in front of Resorts Casino Hotel and will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City. To donate, go to AtlanticCityPolarBearClub.com. After the plunge there will be a post-plunge party at Landshark Bar and Grill from noon to 2 p.m. Anyone who wants to take the plunge must register at Landshark Bar & Grill at 10:30 a.m. on the day of the event. Dash for cash

Four times every hour between noon and 8 p.m. every Tuesday in January on the casino floor at Resorts one person will be chosen at random from all active slot and table players to dash inside the booth and grab some winnings.
