The original aesthetic of SLS Las Vegas was a nod to the past while mostly looking forward. SLS Las Vegas is currently being renovated. The dark and high industrial ceilings are being lowered. Light colored overhangs and chandeliers are offering a more cozy and comfortable feeling.

Readers of this column know TheInveterateGambler has been bouncing around the casinos of Atlantic City for decades. It was with this in mind that recent news of another “ownership” change to the Revel/Ocean Resort Property spurred a fantasy of what he would do to “tweak” the Ocean Resort Casino Atlantic City.

18 Fremont Becomes Circa – You may have heard that the official name of 18 Fremont is Circa. The new casino being built on the land once occupied by Las Vegas Club, Mermaids, and the unforgettable Glitter Gulch is scheduled to open in December 2020.
