Shall we dance? – in Atlantic City, perhaps

I finally made it to Atlantic City. I have gone to Vegas 3-8 times a year for the last two decades. I have gone to the other gamblin’ hubs like Biloxi, Tunica (RIP), and even Laughlin (RIP…oh wait that was just the general feeling of near death-ness there). But I finally made it to the East Coast mecca. I needed to get there and opportunity presented itself…in February.

The B Bar at the Borgata is the only bar in Atlantic City that still comps top shelf drinks (or any drinks for that matter) for playing video poker or slots on the bar top machines. The beauty of this is that while you are being comped for your drinks, you are also earning comps that can be used for something else, like the $10 entry fee for the Amphora Lounge (if you’ve got a Black Label Card.) Readers of this column know TheInveterateGambler has been bouncing around the casinos of Atlantic City for decades. It was with this in mind that recent news of another “ownership” change to the Revel/Ocean Resort Property spurred a fantasy of what he would do to “tweak” the Ocean Resort Casino Atlantic City.
