Rain in Las Vegas is weird. It barely rains most of the year except in July and early August. When it rains, it’s a lot.
NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Show was canceled earlier this week. It will return to Las Vegas next April. The cancellation of the broadcasting expo wasn’t much of a surprise, even if it is considered a “big” Vegas Cancellation. Sony and a couple of other large companies had already pulled out of the expo.
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was in Las Vegas last week. The annual convention showed off the future of technology. This year there were a lot of items on display that fall under “The Internet Of Things” category.
It’s a very special holiday edition of Vegas News! Since I’m writing this during one of the holidays, there will be a little less opinion and observation than usual.
Topics are everywhere from Wall Street related news to weddings and mini-golf inside of a casino. I guess that’s why we love Las Vegas so much.
In less than a week, Boyd Gaming almost doubled their Las Vegas locals casinos from four to seven. With 3 new casino’s they’re playing the game seriously.
