In this first part of our Wynn Palace executive suite hotel review I was going along for the ride that was arguably the biggest casino resort opening of the decade.
This is not just another slight step of evolution like one saw from Wynn to Encore. Wynn Palace is a full blown new species with all the DNA of Wynn’s hotels dating back to even, one would argue, the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City.
There will be a more formal review in the coming week, but for now my first impressions of the Executive Suite at Wynn Palace Cotai. Totaling 89 square meters (960 square feet), our Executive Suite features an expansive living room with marble-topped dining table ideal for meetings or festive dinners, while the plush seating area is enhanced with a 75-inch HD television.
And What A Joint It Is — Amazingly, once you got by the initial rush of folks wanting to enter it was rather calm. The entrance I used had a lovely hallway past the VIP table games area, and the signature smell was amazing. Or perhaps, the fact that I was inside and there was air conditioning was also what made it seem so glorious. When I was writing part 1, I realized that this trip was so last minute I never got a chance to really brace myself for what I was about to encounter.
