XS Nightclub is back at Wynn Las Vegas after a three-month renovation, reopening November 5 with a completely redesigned interior and a four-night lineup of major DJs. The return marks the first major remodel in the club’s history and gives one of the Strip’s longest-running nightlife venues a noticeably more futuristic look. Wynn Las Vegas says the redesign was intended to modernize XS without losing the sense of spectacle that has defined the venue since it opened in 2008.
The redesigned club leans heavily into what Wynn calls “retro-futurist” design, with reflective brass, bronze and chrome surfaces, saturated lighting and sculptural elements throughout the room. The centerpiece is a ceiling installation made up of 1,200 kinetic pendants mounted within gold structures, allowing the visual character of the room to shift during the night. High-resolution mirrored LED displays and custom gold-finished lighting and audio systems are also integrated into the architecture.
The DJ Booth Got an Upgrade Too
The DJ booth was rebuilt to match the new design language, using mirrored gold finishes while hiding much of the audio hardware within the structure itself. Subwoofers and center-fill speakers are incorporated directly into the booth, keeping the equipment less visible while maintaining the sound system’s impact. Wynn says the goal was to make the technology feel like part of the room rather than a separate layer added afterward.
Reopening Weekend Brings Back Familiar Names
The reopening celebration runs November 5 through 8, beginning with RÜFÜS DU SOL’s DJ set, followed by The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris and Diplo B2B HUGEL. The Las Vegas Review-Journal notes that those artists have longstanding ties to XS and Wynn Nightlife, making the lineup more of a reunion than a complete reset.
XS remains a large venue even by Strip nightclub standards. The club spans more than 40,000 square feet and can accommodate 1,840 guests indoors, with total capacity reaching 3,121 when the outdoor areas are included. After nearly 18 years of operation, the renovation gives Wynn a refreshed version of a venue it clearly intends to keep relevant rather than replace.
