I meant to publish this re-cap last week about the Gambling Downgrades and Upgrades at Borgata Atlantic City, but things got a bit busy. Figured I better get this posted before there are more changes. To be fair, there have been a few “enhancements,” for those who like to wager high amounts. I am referring to my notes, which were only semi-organized so please feel free to point out any discrepancies.

Not only is the Uber and Lyft pickup area in the shade but there’s rarely a wait to get a ride at LAS. Even though it’s convenient, finding the ridesharing area at McCarran Airport can be tricky if you’ve never been there before.
It’s the Year of the Rooster! The Palazzo decked out their atrium to celebrate the Chinese New Year. This big guy is huge and quite a sight. I prefer the display from the previous Year of the Rooster display.

Momofuku Las Vegas opened with very little fanfare this week at Cosmopolitan. A friend was walking past it on his way to pay final respects to Blue Ribbon Sushi and saw that it was open. He immediately made a reservation for the next day.
When I get a free moment, I sift through posts, blogs, PR, hyperbole and rumors, and share some of the best stuff. Think of this as an extension of your travel “habiliments.” (Or, just maybe someone bet me $100 I wouldn’t be able to work the word habiliment into a blog post this week… maybe..)
This week we begin our look at one of the best and most exciting casino gaming resorts in the United States, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. The hotel is composed of two properties The Borgata and The Water Club Hotel at Borgata. While the marketing and promotional materials might tell a different story, there is still a very intense focus on casino gaming at Borgata.
But after a lengthy amount of time since opening, no one is really talking about the W at the SLS. While friends will always rave of the latest hotel openings, experiences and the like, no one in my direct contact has mentioned more than a whisper or two about the W.
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was in Las Vegas last week. The annual convention showed off the future of technology. This year there were a lot of items on display that fall under “The Internet Of Things” category.
