Book Comp Vegas Hotels with MyVegas: How to Earn myVIP Status

In recent months, MyVegas (or myVIP) revamped redemptions for hotel rooms and some other rewards requiring higher levels of myVIP status. Previously, without trying for status, I would regularly reach levels three or four. Now, since I pay more attention to status levels, I maintain my VIP level five.

By stacking daily logins across multiple games, you can easily reach higher myVIP status levels to book comp hotel nights at Park MGM, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, and other MGM properties in Las Vegas.

Here’s how to earn higher levels of myVIP status and a breakdown by game, focusing on the larger status gains. Note that myVIP gains seem largely gained from logging in, not from playing or being active in games.

MyVegas mobile:

MyVegas

A daily bonus gave me 30 myVIP points in addition to chips and 500 loyalty points. Collecting chips on the bottom left of the screen (this refreshes every two hours) gave me 5 myVIP points.

MyVegas Classic (browser):

Earn more myVIP points from a daily login in addition to the mobile game.

MGM Slots Live (mobile):

A daily bonus gave me 10 myVIP points in addition to chips. This collection is not automatic. Click a calendar icon on the bottom right of the screen for the daily collection. This usually resets around 8PM EST, but can change based on timechanges.

Pop! Slots (mobile):

A daily bonus gave me 60 myVIP points in addition to streaks. Click a giftbox on the bottom left near a person to unlock this bonus, usually around 8PM EST.

MyKonami (mobile and desktop):

A daily wheel spin, automatic when logging in and resetting around Noon EST, gives myVIP points and chips.

It’s very easy to check games multiple times per day (at least in the evening and morning, for me) to earn large chunks of myVIP points with low effort. I also sometimes collect bonuses that reset every two hours, and some of these bonuses also include myVIP points.

On my main phone, I have myKonami, myVegas mobile, Tetris (extra loyalty points), Pop! Slots, and MGM Slots Live installed. I use my home computer or, when away, my laptop to boot MyVegas Classic.
When writing this article on October 7th, 2025, myVIP status is needed to book various Las Vegas hotels:

myVIP 3: two comp nights at MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, Luxor, Excalibur

myVIP 4: two comp nights at Park MGM

In my experience, the myVIP3 hotel nights have sold out more quickly compared to myVIP 4, so aim for myVIP 4 for extra options and the central location of Park MGM.

Persistence with daily logins and occasional logins for bonuses that reset every two hours pays off and allows for big savings in Las Vegas. Stack these myVegas hotel offers with status earned from spending on MGM credit cards to waive resort fees and possibly get room upgrades.

For more about the MyVegas games, particularly about how to ‘play’ the games and earn loyalty points needed for redemptions, watch my YouTube video in which I use multiple devices to simultaneously ‘play’ games:

As always, gamble responsibly, use credit intelligently, and stack reward programs for maximum savings. Las Vegas, in particular, remains a great value destination.
