The goal of the series is to present at least three or four new works by local playwrights, or previously unproduced works, each year.
“Dula” is the story of a love triangle that ended in murder and became the nation’s first highly publicized crime of passion. The story has been passed down for more than 150 years through legend and song, yet the truth of these stories always has been questionable.
