St. Patrick’s Day comes early with the annual Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade beginning at 1 p.m. March 10. The parade begins just north of the Garden Pier and the Boardwalk and ends at Albany Avenue and the Boardwalk.
Start the celebration even earlier at the Wild Wild West’s Pre-Parade Party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For $39 per person (plus fees) you’ll enjoy at an open bar at the Mountain Bar, music by the Rockets, free mechanical bull rides and a swag bag. For tickets visit Ticketmaster.com.
On the real St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, Resorts Casino Hotel will celebrate with an authentic Irish band and bagpipers strolling throughout the casino and hotel, along with drink specials all day at Bar One, as well as special menus at Breadsticks Café and Grill. While supplies last pick up a free green lei at the Promotions Booth between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. Meanwhile, on the casino floor, play slots or table games with your Star card between 2 and 10 p.m. for a chance to step into the Cash Da$h box and win slot cash or match play. One bill is worth $1,000. One player will be selected every 30 minutes.

The Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival takes place March 23 and 24 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. From down the street, to across the globe, nearly 200 breweries will be present, serving almost 1,000 beers. The goal of the festival is to promote and educate attendees on craft beers, as well as the brew masters who create them. The perfect opportunity for beer geeks, beer lovers and beer beginners to speak to the brains behind the brews, it’s also an opportunity to discover and taste new brews and special “limited release” beers and ales rarely seen in this area.
