They’re already available for play, but the “official” debut of the first video-gaming machines in a U.S.-based casino is Nov. 2 at Bally’s Wild Wild West, Caesars and Harrah’s. The premier game, “Danger Arena,” is a first-person action video game in which player skill determines the payout.

I wasn’t feeling that flush, so I slid my mouse over to Robuchon’s other Vegas outpost – L’Atelier De Joël Robuchon. It’s a bit less formal and has 1 Michelin Star. It also features an open kitchen, so you can watch the culinary creations as they come together. I opted for seats at the bar, so my colleague and I could take in the action, and maybe take a few notes to improve our own kitchen skills.
