The past two weeks have given me the best of both worlds in Las Vegas. You may remember that I took most of the first week of July off to enjoy life as a tourist on the Vegas Strip. Las Vegas is an amazing place to visit and it’s a great place to live! Time for the news in Las Vegas!
Average Daily Hotel Room Prices In Las Vegas Break Record. The average daily room rate is the average of all Las Vegas hotels from every day of the week and does not include resort fees, parking fees, or taxes. So, while a midweek room in downtown Las Vegas might have been $30, a hotel room during CES on the Vegas Strip might have cost $270. Together the prices of the hotel rooms averaged $150 each.
I don’t know about you, but one of the best feelings I’ve had in Las Vegas was seeing all of the slot machines as soon as I walked off the airplane at McCarran Airport. Most of the slot machines just sat there quietly. However, there was one slot machine that would actually greet the visitors. The chants of “Wheel. Of. Fortune” would be ingrained in my head before even getting to the baggage carousel.
