Vegas News | Caesars And Circa Drop All-In Deals, A Car Drives Into A Casino And Details On Where To Gamble Outdoors

Vegas News Update - TravelZork Vegas News

This may be old to you, but since we only publish Vegas News every other week, this is still hot off the presses. Caesars dropped an “all-inclusive” deal for Flamingo, Harrah’s, and The Linq. Read the press release here.

I mention this often, but no “all-inclusive Las Vegas” package truly covers all expenses. I broke down the cost of each feature and was blown away by how expensive food is at Caesars properties. You can see the details here.

I did a similar breakdown of the Circa All In package that was announced this week. This might be good enough for some people, but it’s not great. See the breakdown here.

The Super Bowl is coming back to Las Vegas in 2029! This isn’t a surprise since it was being discussed before the last Las Vegas Super Bowl was played. Read more here

I stopped by the Bally’s pop-up casino on the site of the Tropicana last week. I didn’t have playing quarter slots in a trailer on a construction site on my bingo card but I did it! Expect this to return in two years since there won’t be an operating casino on the land and whoever owns operations will want to keep the land zoned for gaming.

I’ve had a lot of good times at Downtown Grand, and a lot of that is because it was never really crowded. As such, the owners defaulted on a loan, and the casino will be sold after years of rumors. See the details here

Football fans, the College Football Playoff championship game will be played in Las Vegas next year. Read more here.

One of my favorite articles of the year covers which casinos you can gamble outside by the pool or otherwise, because it means that winter is officially over. Mr. TravelZork can share his thoughts on playing craps outside at Wynn. Get the info here

Tickets for the one-and-done Las Vegas Grand Prix are on sale in less than a month. Prices now start at $50 for a single-day ticket. Read more here.

The Bally’s pop-up casino is on the same land where the future home of the Las Vegas A’s is taking place. I didn’t ask for permission to get a tour, but I can confirm work is happening even though there are no workers in the photos I grabbed walking to the slot trailer.

A taco shop is replacing the delicious Italian joint in the Durango food hall. If the name looks familiar it might be because you saw it during Bad Bunny’s halftime show. Read more here.

Casino earnings season is just a few weeks away. We should hear plenty of news about the casino corporations over the next month or so. Boyd Gaming kicks things off on 4/23. This will be followed by Caesars, Station, MGM, and Wynn. I’ll share some of the news on all the socials, but Twitter is always the focus, so there should be more if you want info as it’s announced. I’ll share anything relevant here.

I was surprised to learn that The Bank at Bellagio hasn’t become something else yet. I went to preview a BetMGM March Madness promotion last year and it looks like they can do some rad things with the space.

I can’t think of a better metaphor than the Dirty Castle, Excalibur, behind bars, and between two porta-potties.

Marc grew up on the mean streets of the South Bronx. He's the rare combination of Yankees and Jets fan which explains his often contrarian point of view. He learned about gambling at a young age working down the street from a bookie who took action on anything from the mainstream sports to the last three digits of the purse for certain horse races. Yeah, that's a thing. Today Marc is a freelance writer and social media consultant which allows him to work anywhere there's a wifi signal. This allows him to work from the sportsbook at Red Rock Resort or the food court at The Venetian where you’ll find fast and free wifi. Writing about steak, booze, gambling and Las Vegas is a tough job but somebody has to do it.
