Hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hopefully, this edition of Vegas News will give you some entertainment while dealing with Black Friday sales, Small Business Saturday, or whatever you’re up to.
Holiday weeks are typically a little slow on news but that’s ok, we have two weeks of news for ya! On top of that, we have a little bit of information on the most polarizing topic in Las Vegas this year.
Unlike last year’s sewer cover debacle, the Las Vegas Grand Prix F1 race went off without a hitch. Those in attendance or watching on TV seemed to have enjoyed the race. The only complaints seemed to be from people on xTwitter who aren’t into the races. That isn’t much of a surprise.
The race itself started fun but got a little boring as George Russle pulled away for an easy win. The Vegas goodness was in full effect. While the masses were focused on the Sphere emoji following cars around I was enjoying the scenery of the Vegas Strip.

A pic of Free Parking at Treasure Island was my most popular thread. The xTwitter peeps liked seeing Casino Royale on the screen as much as I did.
Before the race, I stopped at Fontainebleau to see the Aston Martins on display. I’m not a car guy but I thought this was neat. Here’s a reel of the cars I saw.
Let’s get to the news…starting at Fontainebleau! We’ll get to the actual race news later. I just wanted to share some thoughts off the jump.
Admission to the Oasis Ice Rink at Fontainebleau is $30 but free to enter for up to five people with a Fontainebleau Rewards card. See info about the rink here and reserve space here.
I used my Silver level of Fontainebleau Rewards to grab my daily complimentary cup of cold brew. I upgraded from a small to a large for $1 in comp dollars. This is the kind of perk I like since my spending is spread out among different programs.
