Last week I mentioned that I’ve been hearing more grumblings that the transformation of The Mirage to the Hard Rock might take longer than expected. I planned my first stay at Palms Casino Resort for a day I thought it might be a little slow so I could check into the room early. Unfortunately, May 4th must have been busy because there were no rooms when available when I arrived around 11 am.

Vegas News | Palms Opens, NFL Drafts, Prices Everywhere Increasing

This was such a fun week in Las Vegas. The big event was the NFL Draft on the Vegas Strip. Hundreds of thousands of people were in town to catch the NFL spectacle.
