Caesars Entertainment’s players club Total Rewards has been without a hotel partner since their alliance with Starwood ended in December of 2016. Last year Starwood made many moves as a company including aligning with SLS Las Vegas and opening W Las Vegas. Starwood’s future in Las Vegas is in question since SLS Las Vegas was recently sold and plans for the property moving forward haven’t been revealed yet.

Back to Caesars. The nationwide casino chain just announced their new hotel partner. Wyndham Rewards, one of the largest hotel chains in the world, will soon become a part of Total-Rewards’ TR Alliance.

The biggest perk for the new alliance mirrors the most popular feature from Total Rewards previous hotel partnership. Both companies are offering to match the Platinum and Diamond status from both the other loyalty club. Total-Rewards Seven Stars members will become Diamond since that’s Wyndham Rewards’ highest tier.

  • Total-Rewards Platinum, Diamond, and Seven Stars members can upgrade to Platinum or Diamond at Wyndham Rewards here.
  • Wyndham Rewards Platinum and Diamond members can upgrade to the same Total-Rewards status here.

Note, you must be a member of both loyalty clubs to receive the upgrade. You can join Wyndham Rewards here. You can join Total-Rewards here.

While you can upgrade accounts today, the partnership won’t begin until later this year. One of the most useful benefits will be that you’ll be able to swap up to 30,000 points from one loyalty club to the other per year.

Wyndham Worldwide is one of the largest hotel chains in the world. Wyndham has over 8,000 hotels around the world although this partnership only allows access to North American hotels. Some of their hotel brands include Ramada, Days Inn, Dolce, Wyndham and much more. You can see all Wyndham hotel brands here.

This new partnership gives Total Rewards customers access a lot of hotels in the United States and Canada. Likewise, Wyndham Rewards members now have access to benefits at a slew of casino-resorts on the Vegas Strip and around the world.

He learned about gambling at a young age working down the street from a bookie who took action on anything from the mainstream sports to the last three digits of the purse for certain horse races. Yeah, that's a thing. Today Marc is a freelance writer and social media consultant which allows him to work anywhere there's a wifi signal. This allows him to work from the sportsbook at Red Rock Resort or the food court at The Venetian where you’ll find fast and free wifi. Writing about steak, booze, gambling and Las Vegas is a tough job but somebody has to do it.
