In addition, the Historic Organ Restoration Committee (HORC) will present its Second Annual Christmas Spectacular Dec. 1 in Boardwalk Hall’s Adrian Phillips Theater. Performers include Dorothy Benham, Miss America 1977; Harry Hurley, host of WPGG’s Hurley in the Morning; the Atlantic City Ballet; Scott Breiner, director of the Cape Shore Chorale; Rudy Lucente, assistant organist at Wannamaker’s Grand Court Organ; The Boys of Boardwalk Hall Male Quartet; and the Barnegat High School Choir. The program is part of the Yearly Recital Series presented by HORC to increase the community’s awareness of the pipe organs at Boardwalk Hall and raise funds for the restoration to bring them back to full functionality. Atlantic City’s newest casino restaurant opened last month at Tropicana’s Chelsea Tower. The former Teplitzky’s is now Gilchrist Restaurant. Try their signature blueberry pancakes.
