Every day is Veterans Day thanks to MGM Resorts International’s Military & Veterans Program (MVP). Beginning Nov. 12, veterans and active duty military can apply for the casino’s new Honor Card. If applicable, players will be upgraded to an Ocean Premier Gold card, which includes a monthly complimentary stay Sunday through Thursday. In addition, Honor cardholders will get a 10 percent discount on food and beverage (except at HQ2).
Resorts Casino Hotel
The first 1,000 veterans who visit the Promotions Booth beginning at 9 a.m. will receive a free Resorts commemorative T-shirt. The offer is good through midnight while supplies last. Tropicana will light the cupola at the top of its Havana Tower and its interior fountains within The Quarter green. On Nov. 11 veterans and active duty military can enjoy exclusive discounts at Carmine’s, Mrs. Fields, Anthem, and the IMAX Theatre. Chelsea Five Gastropub, Okatshe and Olón will offer 20 percent off food both on Nov. 11 and 12, and Erwin Pearl will give a 10 percent discount off regular-priced items Nov. 9 to 11. Additionally, Tropicana and many of its partners offer year-round discounts, including 15 percent off rack rates Sunday through Friday, as well as food and beverage discounts, which vary by venue.
