Depending on where you visit and how long you stay, parking fees range in price from $5 for self-park to $18 to valet at the various casino-resorts on the Vegas Strip. However, there are free and easy ways to get free parking at almost every property on the Vegas Strip.
Both MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment offer free self-parking to their upper tier players club members. The two casino operators comprise the majority of properties on the Vegas Strip. Here’s how you can get a free upgrade for each company’s players club and receive free self-parking at all MGM Resorts and Caesars hotels in Las Vegas.
Simply sign up for an Mlife Rewards credit card and sign up for a Total Rewards Visa card and you’ll be upgraded to receive free self-parking in Las Vegas. When you sign up for each card your players club tier status is bumped up to a level which allows you free self-parking.
MGM Resorts’ Mlife Rewards
The Mlife Rewards Mastercard offers a slew of benefits. There’s no annual fee for the M Life Rewards credit card. You’ll receive a players club upgrade to Pearl Status at M Life Rewards 7-10 days after you sign up. Of course, you need to be an Mlife Rewards players club member.

Caesars Total-Rewards Visa
Signing up for a Total Rewards Visa credit card will upgrade your players club tier to Platinum. This tier allows for free parking. Like the Mlife Rewards card, there’s no annual fee for this credit card. Similarly, you must also be a Total Rewards players club member to apply for the credit card.

Local Las Vegas residents, California and Arizona residents, international visitors and anyone who likes to drive when in Las Vegas is affected by these new parking fees. Las Vegas locals and drivers from nearby states feel a small sting from the fees since they may only pay for a few hours or days. International visitors to Las Vegas making one long trip for 7-14 days at a time will really feel the impact of parking fees since there’s one large fee tagged onto a hotel reservation. Unfortunately, these credit card offers are only applicable to US residents.
One or both of these credit cards should lessen the financial burden whether you’re visiting for a few hours, days or weeks. If money isn’t the concern, just look at this as an extra drink or two every day.
NOT a Credit Card – Casino Status Match
Do not forget the potential of status matching another casino program to Mlife or Caesars. These matching programs vary and are always changing. But, if you have status at one casino property it’s always a good idea to inquire. Or as mentioned above, matching an affiliated hotel program like Hyatt to Mlife.
