Vegas Hockey and a Ton of News | Las Vegas’ first major professional sports team, the Vegas Golden Knights (VGK for short), had a very busy week. Here are some quick-hitting highlights from the past week for the NHL expansion team……

This is a great weekend to visit Las Vegas if you enjoy being here when the city is full of people just looking for fun. The people watching is fantastic and the people in Las Vegas for the festival are typically just looking for fun. Let’s get to the Las Vegas news from the past week.
There was so much news in Las Vegas last week that I really don’t know where to start. There weren’t any bombshells but there was a lot of interesting tidbits. I’ll try to keep the analysis somewhat brief so I can get to most of the news.
It feels as if Las Vegas has been on a tear with news and rumors lately. I enjoyed finding time just sorting through the headlines. Well, June starts off on the other foot. There’s not much new or interesting to report. Expect this to be a quick look at what’s new in Las Vegas this week.
This will be an abbreviated version of news this week for the holiday. Marc needs to party too! Let’s get to it. The big news this week is that SLS Las Vegas was sold by Stockbridge to the Meruelo Group. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the deal should become official by the third quarter.
