Currently, there’s a targeted Amex Offer for a $60 or 6k points credit on a minimum eligible purchase of $300 at MGM Resorts including the Borgata. Eligible charges include room rate and room charges.
You can also buy Borgata gift cards at the Bell Desk and save the fee, however purchases made at the bell desk do not seem to trigger the credit from Amex but will still earn credit card rewards. The most likely reason for this is that the offer is limited to “room rate and room charges” which are generally processed by the front desk.
What if the Bell Desk is Closed?
Pro Tip: When the Bell Desk (Concierge Desk) is closed, you can purchase at the front desk for NO FEE.
Playing Anyway? Nice “Trick”
Slots are like anything in a casino not a guarantee, but if you’re planning on playing anyway this little trick is a nice way to rack up the rewards.
