The Greater Atlantic City Concierge Association in partnership with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority are teaming up to raise money for local Hospitality Management scholarships by holding their 11th Annual Wine Tasting Art Show from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 6 at The Claridge Hotel. Students attending Stockton University, Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCU) and Farleigh Dickenson U at ACCC are the direct recipients of these hospitality-related scholarships. The event includes an auction, art show/meet the artists, Stockton University’s Faculty Band, wine and craft beer tasting, and appetizers. There also will be a cash bar. Tickets are $25 per person; $30 at the door.

Golden Nugget Atlantic City’s Chart House is hosting an “An Intimate Evening Magic & Mind Reading” with forensic mentalist Scott Xavier on Feb. 7. The 46th annual Atlantic City Auction & Car Show will take place Feb. 8 to 10 in the Atlantic City Convention Center. The event will auction more than 400. To celebrate Chinese New Year Bally’s Atlantic City is hosting a mini-parade at 2 p.m. Feb. 9. The parade will have a Lion and Dragon dance, Fortune God, Shao Ling Kung Fu Group, and more. The performance will begin on the Boardwalk at the Dennis Courtyard, then go to Caesars Atlantic City, head through Wild Wild West and finish at Bally’s sixth floor atrium.
Taste of the town
