The Cosmopolitan and Monte Carlo aren’t the only Las Vegas casino-resorts being renovated before our very eyes. For the past year, Wynn Las Vegas has somewhat quietly updated and upgraded their bars, restaurants, casino, retail outlets, nightclubs, and hotel rooms.
It was a good news/bad news week for the many people who prefer Caesars and Total Rewards casinos in Las Vegas. The casino operator reported earnings last week and had some interesting information to share. After reporting earnings I found, even more, information from Caesars Entertainment. That information wasn’t “interesting” but it you should hear it anyway. Let’s start with the good news.
The Borgata is next in line to become a part of the MGM Resorts International family. They didn’t reveal specifics for streamlining expenses or maximizing revenue on the earnings call. However, Borgata will become a part of the Mlife Rewards family in the 2nd quarter of the year.
There has been a steady and overall decline in gaming odds, comps and casino offers over the years but with fewer rooms available to comp and most of the remaining 7 casinos struggling financially, Atlantic City is rapidly diminishing as a good play for the low roller.
Here are a few must visit places in Las Vegas if you’ve never been here before. These are some of the most iconic attractions you’ll find in Las Vegas. You may visit some of these places on every visit and others you may only need to see once.

This article will serve as our introduction to collecting currency (Paper Money) – Numismatics. Future articles will focus on a number of topics related to currency collecting and eBay.
Happy Vegas Super Bowl Sunday! If the new president really wants to make an impact on America, he’ll make Super Bowl Monday a holiday. Anyway, Las Vegas has been packed all weekend with football fans getting ready to watch and wager on The Big Game. The sports book this morning at Red Rock Casino was already buzzing.
Luxury is defined as “the state of great comfort and extravagant living.” By definition, everything in Las Vegas could be considered luxurious. When I think of Las Vegas Hotel Luxury, I’m thinking the best of the best. Las Vegas does luxury the way few other cities in the world do. Great service and amenities are almost second nature and provided seemingly without effort.
The Borgata is offering two Slot Dollar Multiplier Days in February: 5X Slot Dollars on Sunday, February 5 and 10X Slot Dollars on Tuesday, February 21. On both days the promotion runs from noon to 7pm. I’ve written about these types of promotions before but there are a lot of changes going on at the Borgata, so I will re-evaluate the situation.
