By the time you read this, I’ll be enjoying my summer vacation on the Vegas Strip. I’ll be staying in a casino and will be as immersed in Vegas for a week. It’s always fun to be a tourist in Las Vegas instead of someone on a mission to do X, Y, Z before going home.
While a complete overview of the Ocean Resort Casino loyalty program called Ocean PREMIERE will be forthcoming, we know there is a lot of curiosity and interest about Ocean Resort’s relationship with Hyatt and the World of Hyatt loyalty program.
Ocean Resort Casino, formerly Revel, is currently in a soft opening. The official Opening will be June 28th, 2018 with an official ribbon cutting and Gala for certain invited guests. Having the opportunity to return to one of my favorite properties, I did not wait for the 28th.

Excuse me if it seems as if this was a slow news week in Las Vegas. The city might have been celebrating the inaugural season for the Vegas Golden Knights.
Vegas News | Wynn Parking, MGM Sniffing and Golden Knights Losing — All good things eventually come to an end. The Vegas Golden Knights had a miraculous season but lost to the Washington Capitals in the Stanley Cup Final. There will be movies and/books to detail how inconceivable this season was. In the meantime…
Whew! ZorkFest, 360 Vegas Vacation, and Memorial Day Weekend are gone and life is almost back to normal! The combination of learning, partying, and a day off for a holiday weekend was something else. This weekend was more than just a hang or conference. There’s really a great supportive community that loves casinos in Las Vegas and beyond.

Our destination…the place we could fit the most for the least. That place was the all new Treasure Island at the Mirage. (AKA The OG Encore). And for a splendid night of debauchery, myself and 21 of my peers piled into a room for the night. Buffets and my first slot experience later, Las Vegas became ingrained in me just as it had with my family before me.
