Recently, Live! Casino in Philadelphia changed their tier matching rules to permit active and inactive players, a departure from their previous policy of only allowing new and inactive players. As an active Poker player at Live!, I was able to match my MGM Platinum status to Live! Black status.
Notable Black card perks include a $300 birthday month dinner comp, comp three nights at Resorts World in Las Vegas, free VIP lot parking and valet (even during sporting events and concerts), and an annual card tier anniversary celebration event.
Normally, gameday and event parking can be expensive, so it’s nice to have a parking waiver and, even better, access to the VIP lot inside the Live! parking garage. A $300 birthday dinner can go a long way, especially for a large party at Sports & Social during happy hour. Otherwise, the Asian restaurant Luk Fu could be a good choice.

No Platinum? No Problem.
For those lacking MGM Platinum status, Caesars Rewards Diamond Elite matches to Live! Black. Ocean Prime and Hard Rock Icon statuses match to Live! Platinum status. Platinum status gives a $150 birthday month comp and should allow for reimbursed parking charges in the form of freeplay or dining comps.
As a regular Poker player at Live!, I’m happy to see another round of tier matching. I value the VIP Parking, especially when the main parking garage is busy. A big birthday month dinner comp is always nice to see. Extra comp earning from Poker play is also a nice benefit. In the past, when I had Live! black from previous tier matching, I was also invited to drawings and special events including cocktails and food.
I don’t see any expiration on this tier matching promotion, so it’s probably best to match sooner rather than later.
