Caesars Rewards has introduced a new status level, even higher than Seven Stars status. Should gamblers pursue Olympus status?
Some Caesars Rewards members got an email stating,
“Today, we’re proud to introduce Olympus – the peak of Caesars Rewards and our highest expression of recognition and appreciation. To be considered for Olympus, you must earn 300,000 Tier Credits by December 31, 2026.”

300,000 Tier Credits — With Only Four Months to Earn Them
Having only four months to reach 300,000 Tier Credits will likely lead people to pass, especially if they barely reach 150,000 Tier Credits. The cost of earning another 150,000 Tier Credits, especially in just a few months, can be quite high.
I’d also instead write December 31st, 2026, not December 31, 2026 (RIP Darryl). Either way, like with Seven Stars status, the email notes, “Eligibility for our most exclusive status is by invitation only and offered to a select group…” In other words, if you reach the designated Tier Credit level, your status is not guaranteed, as it must be reviewed and approved.
Last year, I exceeded 150,000 Tier Credits and was not awarded Seven Stars. However, my Tier Credits were mainly earned through Video Poker Tier Credit multiplier promotions, online Blackjack, and Caesars credit card spending, so I was likely not part of a “select group” that they wanted to award status to.
Sadly, Caesars Rewards does not automatically award Seven Stars or Olympus, unlike MGM Rewards, which automatically awards Platinum with the required Tier Credits.

What Benefits Does Olympus Offer?
More could be added later, but we know the following:
Reward Credits Earned 40% Faster (some extra comps, but likely not much, especially since this may not really be a 40% increase if the other status levels also have an increased percentage)
Complimentary Suite Upgrades Subject to Availability (this could be nice, but gamblers in the 300,000 Tier Credit range may already get this benefit from their hosts)
Access to Members-Only Events (no mention of what these may be, but as Diamond Elite, I already get lots of invites to dinners, drawings, and more)
Seven-Night Annual Retreat At Any Caesars Rewards Destination (this could be nice if there were extra incentives, but gamblers at the Olympus level likely get many room and food comps)
Caesars Rewards Has Already Seen Several Devaluations
It’s also hard for me to be excited about higher levels of status with Caesars Rewards in mid-2026, especially following several devaluations:
Caesars banning several online gamblers with no notice and leaving them to hold the bag with purchased gambling gift cards
Restrictions on Caesars gambling gift cards (many note monthly limits of only five or six cards compared to the past, when people were able to deposit thousands of dollars in a session, multiple times per week).
Comenity, the Caesars Rewards credit card issuer, with no warning, claiming cardholders were “high risk” (even though they paid balances in full, in advance of due dates)
Uncertainty surrounding the transition to Fertitta Entertainment
Laurel Lounges remaining closed in many locations
Why Introduce Olympus So Late in 2026?
Perhaps this is Caesars Rewards encouraging gambling at the end of 2026, but an announcement in early 2027 may have been a better plan, giving gamblers an entire year to reach a new level of status.
Who Is Olympus Status Really For?
Who might this appeal to? If someone gambles enough to earn Seven Stars, would the small benefits I see encourage far more gambling? Maybe someone would gamble if they were close to 300,000 Tier Credits, but probably not if they only reached 150,000 to 200,000 Tier Credits.
Olympus status looks like a swing and a miss.
As always, gamble responsibly and intelligently.
