Pro-tip: The Vegas Strip is a blast on New Year’s Eve but it’s crazy busy. Having done both, I think it’s better than Times Square in New York City. Anyway, getting around the Vegas Strip is a bit of a pain since the it will be closed for midnight fireworks. Make a plan for the night before you head to the area just so you’re not frustrated by the closures and traffic. Even if you don’t stick to the plan you’ll be ok with the situation mentally.
Genting Group, owners of Resorts World Las Vegas, reported earnings earlier this month. While the company seems fine, Las Vegas had a messy quarter between lower occupancy and legal issues. You can the specifics here.
