Fontainebleau agreed to buy five acres of land that used to be home to Riviera from the LVCVA. The deal should close by November. If the deal closes we should hear what the casino operator plans to do. Read more here.

July 4 Fireworks update:
- Once again, Caesars Palace will be the place to watch July 4 fireworks on the Vegas Strip. The space outside Carnival Court between Harrah’s and The LINQ fills up if you’re looking for a place to watch. Read more here.

The Proper Eats Food Hall at Aria continues to add restaurants. We shared details about Parm opening in the previous Vegas News. The latest addition is a salad joint. Read more here.
Red Rock Casino is proud of the newly renovated restroom. I’m glad this is done. There was almost an accident during my last visit when I had to hightail it to a different restroom after one too many beers!
Genting Group reported first-quarter earnings earlier this month. According to the press release, their Q1 profits are up 230%. Read more here.

Rumor has it that Circa is replacing the sportsbook screens this summer. That’s pretty quick for an update unless there’s something wrong with the mechanics that we don’t see. Read more here.
