I was about to file this but news about a Macallan tasting at Aria got in the way. This news is so fresh that there’s no information beyond the press release I just shared here.

The bridge connecting Paris Las Vegas and the new Versailles Tower (formerly Bally’s/Horseshoe Jubilee Tower) is finally open. 

The Venetian Rewards tier match is live. Those who do the match will not have access to most of the best benefits so it might not be worth your time. They didn’t match my Fontainebleau tier but I may return with a Hard Rock card just to get complimentary valet during G2E. You can read the good, bad, and dumb here.

Weird Al is kicking off his 2025 tour with a limited engagement at The Venetian. Read more here.

I’m not a fan but Weird Al shows are definitely an experience. Good or bad is up to you. The Venetian might be a great place for people-watching next June. 

LAS has plans to expand. Unlike many proposed ideas in Las Vegas, this seems very flushed out so it seems likely to happen. Upgrading the rideshare space needs to happen regardless of approval. Read more here.

Flamingo is renovating its pool. As you’d expect the local newspaper has lots more info. Actually, the newspaper has no useful information but you can see that here.

The Tropicana implosion is next week! I could never have imagined how little anyone would care about this casino closing and being demolished. You can watch a stream at Ballylive.com and @Vegas on X.

The free Neon City Music Festival has a lineup. It’s three days of free music talent you’d expect to see for free at the Fremont Street Experience. See the performers here. 

Della’s at Delano is closing for good. MGM will announce plans for the space soon.

The Eagles added four more shows to their Sphere residency next year. Read more here.

Pitbull’s next residency will be at Fontainebleau. Read more here.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Pitbull has a residency at Hard Rock when it opens in a few years.

I’m so bored of Dragon Link and love the THUD of the money balls in Dragon Train that I’ve played that game a few times. I’m curious if Phoenix Link offers anything different from Dragon Link. Maybe they’ll rip off the “THUD” and call it even.
