During November visitors will have lots to be thankful for – and they don’t even have to wait until Thanksgiving.
They’re already available for play, but the “official” debut of the first video-gaming machines in a U.S.-based casino is Nov. 2 at Bally’s Wild Wild West, Caesars and Harrah’s. The premier game, “Danger Arena,” is a first-person action video game in which player skill determines the payout.

Tropicana’s official holiday tree lighting will take place at 1 p.m. Nov. 21. In addition, there will be a free Holiday Musical Light Show every hour on the hour starting at noon Nov. 21 and running through Jan. 3. The show features a 35’ tree with synchronized holiday music.
The Atlantic City Ballet will present “It’s A Shore Holiday” Nov. 27 at Caesars Circus Maximus Theater. Visit ACBallet.org for details. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com.

Tropicana Atlantic City
Entertainment – Dion (Nov. 5), The Band Perry (Nov. 12), Goo Goo Dolls (Nov. 19), Holiday Jubilee (Nov. 20 – Dec. 23: Select dates). Starring nine dancers and two vocalists, Holiday Jubilee takes a fresh approach to presenting the most beloved holiday music, characters and stories of the season. After a festive opening number the audience is taken inside a magical toy shop where tap dancing soldiers, music box ballerinas and rag dolls spring to life. In another sequence Santa shows his moves with an old school hip hop number, and show business turns to snow business with the Ice Dance, when the stage is filled with beautiful angel wings and magical falling snow to the sounds of “Winter Wonderland” and “White Christmas.” The Holiday Showgirl Fashion Show is an over-the-top celebration of holiday sparkle showcasing eight different costume designs by award-winning choreographer and costume designer Mistinguett. Tickets are $10 for children (16 and younger) and $25 for adults.

Another entertainment option at Tropicana is Atlantic City’s only IMAX® Theatre. Through April 2017 the theater is showing “Voyage of Time: Life’s Journey” and “Voyage of Time: The IMAX Experience” on select dates. Other films scheduled are “Doctor Strange” (Nov. 3 – 17) and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” (Nov. 17 – Dec. 15).
