Goodbye Bally’s, hello Horseshoe Las Vegas. After changing Bally’s name in December, Caesars Entertainment wasted no time in starting the update. Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Sports Kitchen will open at Horseshoe sometime this summer, expanding Fieri’s partnership with Caesar’s. Ah yes, another celebrity chef restaurant in Las Vegas.
The New Guy Fieri Flavortown Sports Kitchen
Regardless of your views on celebrity chefs, this new sports bar (excuse me, “kitchen”) looks pretty swanky. It’s going to be enormous. According to Caesars, Horseshoe Las Vegas was “designed by Aria Group Architects, the funky and inviting interior boasts relaxed seating and vividly colored murals. Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Sports Kitchen spans 6,540 square feet and will seat up to 279 throughout the bar, main dining area and rotunda. The restaurant will feature a colossal, 360-degree island bar with decorative liquor displays and enough LED screens to satisfy any sports fanatic. For a unique viewing experience or a private event, guests may enjoy a more intimate space in the MVP lounge on game day or for a special occasion.”
I have to admit, though, that 360-degree bar does sound pretty cool (or, as my kids would say, “slay.”).
Book at the Upgraded Horseshoe Las Vegas
Guests can now book the “new” hotel at the Horseshoe Las Vegas website or directly through Caesars. There is still plenty to do on the existing property, of course, even if some of your favorites have been renamed. Options include Jack Binion’s Steak, the ARCADE at Horseshoe and the World Series of Poker Hall of Fame® Poker Room. But I would anticipate that there will be new additions Horseshoe evolves. Caesars knows how powerful the name “Horseshoe Las Vegas” is and doesn’t simply want it to be an updated version of Bally’s.
