Black Friday, as we all know, has become a tradition. Waking up at the crack of dawn to freeze to death waiting in line for a discounted digital camera you’ll likely never use, or something to that ilk, only to realize how miserable you are after the whole day is said and done. But for the Vegas-phile, this often means pretty good deals on rooms for a short period of time at some great properties in Vegas. So of course, this little beauty pops into my inbox… Wynn Black Friday Sale ….
Ooh. Wynn. Sale. Substantial discounts? I’m in. This is my kind of clickbait. Let’s open that envelope.
The Black Friday Sale, clustered amongst their other package offers, shows discounts across the board. And while some of them are very good for weekend prices at a property like Wynn, they’re sadly still a touch above the average casino rate a player with good standing would get. So a deal? Yes and no. Depends on if you’re a player or not.
But more interestingly is what you find if you keep scrolling…
Black Friday – How Suite It Is!
The ONLY room type that’s not listed in the sale are the Villas proper. Every other room type, including the Encore Duplex and the Fairway One and Two Bedroom is available. Cheap? Hell no. But if you’ve got the cash and you’re willing to cough up somewhere between $1k and $4k per night (the deal for my money would be the Two Bedroom North Fairway Villa, but, to each his own) you can sleep in a room normally reserved for the just slightly smaller whales. Just remember, spend your money wisely. Even though they’re on “sale” it’s Vegas. How much time are you going to spend in that 2 Bedroom Fairway Villa anyway? Now if you’ll excuse me I’ve got a Roger Thomas inspired tablescape to prepare. Happy Thanksgiving!
