Since the last Vegas news, two new casinos have opened in Las Vegas. Fontainebleau is open on the Vegas Strip and Durango Resort is open about 15 minutes west of Mandalay Bay.

The first weekend of March Madness is wall-to-wall college basketball games for four consecutive days. In total, there will be 48 games played over the weekend.
This week the US finally announced it was lifting some international travel restrictions in November. Visitors from countries in the European Union, China, and more will be able to visit Las Vegas once again. You can read more from the NY Times if you’re curious about specifics.
It’s fantastic news that Vegas is busy! — Memorial Day Weekend was the busiest time in Las Vegas in more than a year. It was great being in the pre-holiday mix.
On Tuesday, I went to a small media gathering at Tuscany for the opening of the new Circa Sports location. Afterward, I saw a couple of friends from Florida for the first time in years. I saw more people in three hours than the entire year to date, and that was just the beginning. Wow, Vegas is packed.
