Last week was the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) and I think I’m finally caught up. Well, not caught up but back to a normal schedule. There’s still plenty to do. Here are a few pieces I’ve already written.

Marble Run is real and fantastic. There were a handful of other unique games in the Interblock booth, including a couple of roulette games that looked kind of fun. Read about the games here.
While InterBlock had a lot of new games there was a lot of the same – either old theme with new tech or old tech with new themes. Read about that and other things I noticed at G2E here.
The average age of casino customers is down from 50 in 2019 to 42 last year per Bill Miller/AGA pic.twitter.com/AlZcQOwMQe

The President and CEO of the American Gaming Association mentioned during his keynote that the age of casino guests has dropped from 50 to 42 over the past five years. Look forward to seeing the data behind that number.
It could be me but I was underwhelmed by a lot of what I saw in the expo hall. One slot machine that stood out was Money Gong from IGT. It takes a game like Dragon Train to another level. I tried to go back to record some video but didn’t get a bonus and forgot to cash out my fake money handpay.
You can see a bunch of pictures on XTwitterX if you’d like to see more. Feel free to hit me up with any questions.
I’ll have more from G2E over the next couple of weeks. Follow for more. Let’s get to the regularly scheduled Vegas News!

The Venetian is adding a food hall next year in the Grand Colonnade. There’s no word on what will happen to the current first-floor food court. They’ll probably just add more slot machines. Read more here.
Before G2E, I stopped by The Venetian to do the tier match. Read about the wack Venetian Rewards “match” here.
The large stadium gaming installation was moved into the old poker room space. Its former space is all slot machine now. The Venetian poker room is now in the Grand Canal Shoppes near The Palazzo.
This one slipped by me during G2E, The Venetian will have roller skating this winter at Tao Dayclub. Read more here.
Last one for The Venetian, the casino finally confirmed that Bazaar Meat was relocating from Sahara. You knew about this already, right? Read the press release here and the original story here.
In case you missed it the Tropicana was imploded. Read more here and enjoy a few pics below.

Last but not least, I met a friend at Fontainebleau so we could redeem our dining credits from tier matching earlier this year. It turns out we were able to combine both credits and that covered the dinner below.
I was also reminded that Don’s validates valet. It was complimentary for my status but that’s a $35 or $40 discount depending on the day.
