The Great Vegas Comeback (™) is showing visible signs of progress. There’s been much preparation to return to normal, but we actually see progress right before our eyes. It’s nice to actually see the changes (like positive news with Vegas Rideshares) rather than hear about the plans for change.
Boyd Gaming has been doing great business in Las Vegas over the past couple of years. The locals casinos and downtown casinos have been attracting locals and tourists alike. Their earnings call and report for the second quarter was further proof of that.
The big news is that the Big Blue Monstrosity on the north end of the Vegas Strip has an opening date. Let’s start there because I have even more information today than when the announcement was first made.
