Golden Nugget Casino, Hotel & Marina – Earn entries through Sunday, Sept. 1, to win a 2019 Maserati Quattroporte. The drawing will be held at 8 p.m. Sept. 1 in the Golden Nugget’s Main Atrium. One finalist will win the Maserati; five others will win $1,000 in free play.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City – Hard Rock is giving away $1 million at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, at Hard Rock Live. Wild Card Rewards cardholders earn entries by playing their favorite slots or table games through 11:59 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31.
Harrah’s Resort – Harrah’s is holding a $200,000 Summer of Jackpots promotion through Saturday, Sept. 7. Caesars Rewards cardholders will get one entry for every 25 tier credits earned during the promotional period. Entries must be activated on the finale day.
Resorts Casino Hotel – Play daily through Monday, Sept. 2, for a chance to win $1 million or other prizes in the Hot Summer Fun High-Low Challenge.
Through 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, guess the number of fish in the container on the casino floor to win up to $1,000 in slot cash
Every 15 minutes from 2 to 8 p.m. Mondays through Aug. 26 in the Margaritaville Lobby one name will be called from all active slots and tables players to drop a chip on the Plink-It board to win slot cash or match play prizes.
Participate in free slot tournaments every Tuesday through Aug. 27. Tournaments are held from noon to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. on the casino floor. Players can play in one slot tournament per day for free or earn two tier points to play in both.
Through July 31, earn one tier point on Wednesdays to receive a free Hot Summer Fun T-shirt.
Through Aug. 29 earn two tier points each Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5:59 the next morning to play Beach Ball slot cash at any kiosk and win up to $30,000 in slot cash.
Every Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. through Aug. 30 in the Margaritaville Lobby play head-to-head blackjack with the dealer and win up to $200.
July 27 activate your entries in the You’re A Star $50,000 Sweepstakes by inserting your Star card into any slot machine. From 4 to 9 p.m. five winners will be chosen every 30 minutes, one from each tier level.
Earn entries through Sunday, Aug. 25, to win a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport. The drawing will be held at 4 p.m. Aug. 25.
Tropicana Atlantic City – Tropicana’s Winning Ticket promotion continues through Sunday, Sept. 8. Trop Advantage cardholders receive one free ticket by visiting any comp machine. Players can choose their own lucky numbers or select a quick pick option that will randomly assign six numbers and a bonus ball. A Zoom Ball machine in Palm Walk will conduct five drawings daily at 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays an extra drawing will be held at 11 p.m. Anyone who picked a Winning Ticket number will have five chances daily and can win prizes from 25 Bonus Slot Dollars to $2 million.
Film Festival
Free Movies Under The Stars returns July 7 and 11 to Gardner’s Basin and Bartram Avenue, respectively. Bring a chair or blanket, a soft drink and popcorn, and enjoy a free family-friendly evening. Among the films scheduled are Jaws, Black Panther, Mary Poppins Returns and Dumbo. All movies begin at dusk.
Faking it
Fakefest returns July 8 to 14 to the Golden Nugget Casino, Hotel & Marina’s Deck Bayfront Bar & Restaurant as tribute bands provide a week-long blast from the past to honor such musical greats as Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen, Van Halen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and more.
The Deck also hosts Born in the USA Thursdays with drink specials from 6 to 8 p.m., and music by the B Street Band beginning at 7:30.
