I recently visited the renovated SAHARA Las Vegas for a breakfast meeting and happy hour. The breakfast meeting was the first time my friend and I visited the new Sahara post renovations. Our discussion over coffee about the new Sahara went something like this.

We’re going to jump right into the Vegas News this week because I found a new document just as I was sitting down.
This is it. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is finally closing. It’s funny that a casino that I’ve rarely visited in the past five years stirred up so much emotion. The Hard Rock opened in 1995 and became one of my favorite casinos for about 10 years.

What a week in Las Vegas! You may remember that my week started with an amazing flight to Vegas from Los Angeles on JSX. As you may have read, the experience was fantastic and stress-free, unlike most flights I’ve taken. That experience seemed to set the tone for what would hectic week in Las Vegas. I remember hearing about Jet Suite X when it first launched in 2016. Flying from Las Vegas on semi-private airline JSX sounded interesting but it only flew to a few west coast cities. Since I don’t travel around the west coast often it slipped my mind.

Lighthearted movies featuring gambling are certainly a small subset of all the films Hollywood produces. The audience is limited for these gambling films and that diminishes the possibility of a significant return on investment for producers and investors, so they can be hard to find.
