I remember hearing about Jet Suite X when it first launched in 2016. Flying from Las Vegas on semi-private airline JSX sounded interesting but it only flew to a few west coast cities. Since I don’t travel around the west coast often it slipped my mind.
It’s always strange writing Vegas News when I’m not in Vegas. I spent the weekend in Los Angeles so the bulk of my research happened in a foreign city.
I was told about the legendary Happy Hour in Las Vegas at Herbs & Rye when I first moved to town. Today we look at Cleaver Butchered Meats……
Sometimes the calendar (and Vegas News) moves so quickly and it takes some time to adjust to. It feels like we were just saying goodbye to 2019. Now we’re just weeks away from the Super Bowl and the year is almost over!
Lighthearted movies featuring gambling are certainly a small subset of all the films Hollywood produces. The audience is limited for these gambling films and that diminishes the possibility of a significant return on investment for producers and investors, so they can be hard to find.
It’s been a very active and exciting time to watch New England’s casino landscape evolve to nine casinos. 2019 had some of the best highs, such as new openings, competition, and an explosion of entertainment and promotions. We also had some of the lowest lows such as revenue declines and lawsuits. I have whittled it down to six main stories in 2019. Here is New England Casinos Looking Back at 2019 overview.
Welcome to our monthly news, promotions and events for Atlantic City January 2020. Saturday, January 25th, is going to be a busy day in Atlantic City with food and beverage options such as Wing Wars at Golden Nugget and Ocean Casino Resort’s Brews + Bites. If eating or drinking isn’t your thing, entertainment options include Marc Anthony at Hard Rock or reality TV stars Snooki and Joey at Harrah’s.
Happy New Year! Introducing Vegas News January and our first installment for 2020. I hope the holidays treated you well. I’m happy to get back to a normal schedule again. Mid-week holidays mess with how I like to operate. That’s never a good thing.
The Year That Was – While much happened over this past year in Atlantic City casinos, here are just a few of the highlights that come to mind.
Congratulations! We made it through another year! This will probably be the shortest Vegas News of the year so I’ll deliver it once again in Quick Hits format.
We’re slowly sliding to the end of the year. Hopefully, you’re having a great holiday season. Las Vegas is always fun around this time of year, especially Las Vegas New Year’s Eve. Tourists tend to stay away from Las Vegas until after Christmas Day. After that, it’s a different ballgame.
Earlier this week I was able to tour the construction site for the property that will eventually become Circa Resort & Casino. I’m normally not a fan of hard hat tours unless the project is about to open. For sure, this is part of everything happening in Las Vegas this week.
