Some Zorks love gaming. Some love flying. Now there is something for everyone: The Atlantic City Airshow on August 23rd. The show kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with the US Army Golden Knights Flag Jump with the National Anthem.

The show features a variety of acrobatics and aircraft throughout the day. That includes teams from the New Jersey Air National Guard, US Navy and US Coast Guard. The grand finale is the US Air Force Thunderbirds that start their show just before 3 p.m.

It is not all military aviation. Sponsor Geico puts its “Skytypers” in the air after 1 p.m. Then they race with the “Miss Geico speedboat” a short while later.

The best part: the show is free. You can simply watch by standing on the boardwalk or sitting on the beach. If you are looking for a more comfortable experience, the show offers three options for premium viewing and VIP parties. Prices begin around $50 and all the tickets include at least a lunch. Commentary for the show is available via radio stations WPG Talk Radio 104.1 FM and 1450 AM.

Sweetening the pot for gaming enthusiasts, sponsor Borgata Hotel & Casino is offering its 777 Bonus Slot Dollars Every Seven Minutes on the 24th. It is a perfect excuse to add another day to the AC visit, or even extend into the weekend.
