With the majority of physical disabilities occurring at older age, Las Vegas, its hotels and casinos have long been poised to tap into the disability travel marketplace. And tap into it they have!

It’s ZorkFest weekend and we’re all in Atlantic City! I’m skipping a Pai Gow session at Bally’s right now so I can gather any interesting news from Las Vegas that I can find. Writing about Las Vegas is fun but it’s, even more, fun when there’s a casino 30 seconds away.

This will be the shortest Vegas News post in about a year. Not much happened in the past week despite constant hunting high and low for anything that could pass as news. Earlier this year someone mentioned that they had FOMO. The Fear Of Missing Out is real and it turns out that I have that as well. I have to know everything happening in Las Vegas. I can’t miss out on anything!

Station Casinos recently revealed that they will roll the system out two more properties by the end of the year. They will continue to install Cardless Connect in even more casinos next year. Station Casinos hasn’t revealed which casinos will receive the new mobile loyalty system yet.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. The Las Vegas Holiday Season is upon us. This week everyone will be eating turkey and in a couple of weeks we’ll all be breaking out our winter clothes and celebrating whatever holiday works for you.

Southwest Airlines is generally, still the best airline to fly if you’re looking for reasonably priced and convenient domestic flights, but since they upgraded their reservation system in May, it is more difficult to find deals and those that you do find, may be for flights with bad connections or at odd times. Low fares can disappear quickly, in a matter of days, or even hours.

My first Atlantic City trip was in January 2010, and even though the tables were as cold as the weather, I immediately fell in love with the city.
