Las Vegas Long Weekend — We’re in the middle of a long Memorial Day Weekend so I’m just going to hop right to the Vegas News.

The original aesthetic of SLS Las Vegas was a nod to the past while mostly looking forward. SLS Las Vegas is currently being renovated. The dark and high industrial ceilings are being lowered. Light colored overhangs and chandeliers are offering a more cozy and comfortable feeling.
Du-par’s is still in business. No, Du-par’s is no longer at the Golden Gate. Du-par’s Vegas at Suncoast serves the same delicious pancakes and French Toast that we’ve come to know and love over the years.
OK, I’m at the Airport. Now What? I was leaving from Terminal 1, D Concourse, so it turns out there are 3 different LAS Airport Lounges worth considering. Centurion Lounge at LAS, The Club at LAS and United Club at LAS. A little more digging turned up some interesting details.
More than a few people I know are noticing the increased number of promotions for Caesars that we mentioned last week. I saw comps almost across the board in my Total Rewards app and decided to book a night at Planet Hollywood. I had to shoot some video of the new Block 16 Food Hall at the Cosmopolitan so I figured I’d get a room and work in my room instead of driving back home. Lazy? Sure. Fun? You bet!
