That’s right, Holsteins is back, baby! The beloved burger and shakes spot formerly at Cosmopolitan Las Vegas re-opens at it’s new location at 1216 Main Street on May 29th in the Arts District.
I’m a burger lover, this has been documented on various VegasBright articles and on my YouTube Channel. I had two favorites, the Hangover Burger at Binion’s and the Gold Standard Burger at Holsteins.
Holsteins was at The Cosmopolitan from 2010 to 2024, and the place did good business from what I remember. Always seemed busy when I went there. The Gold Standard Burger always drew me in, and I was saddened to hear of its closing. However, I waited with eager anticipation for it’s re-opening in the Arts District.
Here’s what the construction wall looked like on one of my 2am night riding journeys to check up on the progress some weeks ago.
That pre-signage shot was pure excitement, I rode past the place a bunch of times and saw that wall, but this time they had placed signage for hiring, which meant they were for sure full speed ahead. The next time I checked up on it, they had glorious neon. Here’s that:

The windows were still covered up so I couldn’t get a sneak peak until a few days later, this was last week…. here’s that.
They have since done some more on the inside, but I’m saving that as a surprise for myself until opening day.
I’m definitely looking forward to having The Gold Standard burger again, just to see if they still “got it”.
