I couldn’t make it to Zorkfest this year, but by all accounts, it sounds like the conference was a success. If you’re a super early planner, you can plan for Zorkfest 2024 to take place from Nov. 1- Nov. 3.

Aristocrat has been very secretive about the development of its NFL slot machines. Well, they finally released a preview of the game and it looks like an Aristocrat slot machine. See the preview below and read about the different versions of the game here.
New Casino Revenue Report – The 2022 Nevada Gaming Abstract was released last week. This report from the Nevada Gaming Control Board includes all income and expenses for Las Vegas casinos from the last fiscal year. The report covers July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022.
The Global Gaming Expo (G2E) blew through Las Vegas this week. As always, it was a fun time seeing new games, meeting new people, and connecting with others I don’t see very often.
The autumn display at the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is up. While beautiful, this is probably my least favorite every year. Tropicana has a new rewards program. This is not currently connected with Bally’s casinos around the country.
Caesars Palace just finished renovations that include a new lobby bar… The Nevada Gaming Commission approved the Tropicana sale to Bally’s this week…
This week we will get to a new construction update as well as some current renovations. We mentioned that MGM Resorts planned on renovating a portion of the rooms at MGM Grand after the company’s recent earnings call. Some of the rooms in the newly named Studio Tower (former West Wing) will be available in late October. The rest should be completed before the end of the year.
